Complete MPT powerglide transmissions are available in many different stages and configurations. We will do our best to make sure you get the "right combination" on your race transmission without spending more than you need to.

Includes labor and parts. We will inspect and rebuild your powerglide to MPT specs. This includes new hi-performance O/H kit with reuseable pan gasket. Front pump will be checked and modified for improved oil flow if needed.

We believe a lot of racers are interested in rebuilding their own Powerglides. It can save them a lot of money and the entire process is basically pretty easy.
We just finished an article, "It Ain't Rocket Science" for the January issue of www.dragracingonline.com about rebuilding Powerglides. It takes you from initial inspection, the measurements you need to make, the clean-up and preparation needed, organizing your parts and the final assembly.

The tools you need are pretty basic but there are a few "specialty tools" you will need. We make a few of them to keep costs down and have found suppliers that will pass savings on to you racers for their tools.
The Powerglide is one of the most simple automatic transmissions ever made and it has evolved into THE most popular and durable race transmission ever.
